Recently, we launched Videoblast.it. An easy way to share a favorite moment within a video! With Videoblast.it you can create a unique customized page with your video and comment. You can even control the specific time your video will start! After you create your videoblast go ahead and share it with the ones you want. Post it to your Skype chat, email it, or share it with your facebook friends and twitter followers.

Now you just have to follow 3 simple steps to make your Videoblast and share your favorite moment within a video.

1. Enter your Youtube url in the white box right on top. Not sure about the url? Click the blue link to transfer to Youtube and pick your video.

2. Decide when you want your video to start. Although this step is not necessary, the core excitement from a Videoblast is when you capture that exact moment within a video. You can test if you picked the right time by clicking the “Test Time” button and previewing your videoblast in the small screen on the right!

3. All done with the video? Add a comment that you want to attach. The comment will be shown at the top of the video when the video is played. Finally you have the opportunity to put the right title to the video you are sharing!

Event: WordCamp 2009 (San Francisco)

Date: Saturday 30th of May

The ‘WordCamp 2009‘ is the event of the year for the bloggers of Bay Area (and the rest of the world). I was there as a volunteer! I was excited to be there, meet people, help on the event and listen to all these different speakers. The list of the speakers was long and very interesting!

More than 700 people attended the event. There were very interesting presentations. John Lilly the CEO of Mozilla spoke about Firefox and the use of blogs. Chris Pirillo talked about Online Communities and Tim Ferriss talked about his blog and his experience with WordPress. The two most exciting presentations were the ones from Matts! Matt Cutts and Matt Mullenweg rock! The one is an expert of Google SEO and page rank and the other one is the CEO of Automattic (WordPress)

But who is Chris Pirillo?

Chris Pirillo has been participating in Internet conversations since 1992, having launched Lockergnome.com as a content publishing network and building Gnomedex to be one of the blogosphere’s highly regarded conferences. He publishes a personal blog and lifecast to tens of thousands of viewers, and is a top subscribed partner on YouTube. When searching Google for “Chris,” his site is listed as the first result. He’s a monthly columnist for CPU Magazine, and has authored books on business and personal technology. Chris also produces weekly video segments for CNN.com Live, where he offers tech advice to a savvy audience. (WordCamp.org)

In which an exuberant tribute to the common humanity of the world’s cultures drowns in the viewer’s own acid brew of jealousy and provincialist inadequacy. Suggested alternate title: How the hell did Matt find the time and money to do this?

Everyone knows who this guy is, yes? It occurs to me that I may be assuming too much, but with 600,000 views for this in one day and almost 10 million for the one he released two years ago, we’re probably all on the same page.
